Sheikh Kabir Ahmed Mr. Kabir, a B. Sc. From the University of Dhaka and a Certified Accountant from UK, is the Sponsor Director of IBCS-PRIMAX Software (BD) Ltd. A Freedom Fighter of Bangladesh in 1971 Mr. Kabir participated in the Comdex Fall Computer Fair in Las Vegas, USA in 1999 and 2000, Computer Fair in California, USA in 2000, attended Oracle World Conference in Bali, Indonesia in 1999 and Thailand in 2002, Global Seminar and Workshop sponsored by Unisys World Trade in Singapore and Bali in 1998 and 2001. He also attended the AOTS Scholarship Program in Japan in 2003. Being a successful personality of such a magnitude Mr. Kabir is the Chairman of the Standing Committee for Excess to Finance of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and Standing Committee for Legal Affairs, Policy and IPR of Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS). Also he is a Director of BASIS Board for 2010 – 2011, as he was for 2002- 2003. He successfully played the role of Member of the Standing Committee for IT of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). |
